Go Hotpot! is a competition entry for permanent public realm improvements to New Malden’s Fountain Roundabout and nearby pocket-park. The aim is to create a new visual focal point in New Malden that will act as a ‘gateway’ to the town centre.

The proposal is a playful landscape that celebrates the cultural diversity of New Malden. The design takes inspiration from hotpot. It aims to create a social and cultural hot spot for gathering, exchanging sustainable ideas and playing. A number of unique landscape elements are co-designed with the local residents and implemented by sustainable materials.
